Phase 01·Foundation Course
Learn to see.
You already train. But do you know what actually happens when you stand in front of the camera?
The Foundation Course is not a workshop. It's the first honest look at what happens between you and the camera when you try to be good.
What it's abou
The starting point.
Most actors aren't stuck because they lack training. They're stuck because something else is missing: the ability to notice what happens inside them while they play.
You often know exactly what you should do. And still it doesn't feel alive. That's where this course begins — not with more technique, but with what you've overlooked so far.
The problem
What actually gets in the way.
Acting is often treated as if you just need to practice more. More method, more repetition.
But the real problem is rarely a lack of skill. It's that many actors lose themselves while they play. In front of the camera, control emerges. In the head, judgement. In the body, tension. And what should actually happen — a real reaction — gets replaced by something manufactured. The result then often looks right. But not real.
The shift in perspective
„TalentIQ doesn't see acting primarily as performance, but as perception under observation. The important question isn't: How do I play this correctly? But: What happens inside me while I try to get it right?"
How it works
The process.
There is no assessment. No performance requirement. No “playing it right”. Instead a space emerges in which it becomes visible how quickly you lose yourself as soon as you try to be good — and how much is there when you stop constantly correcting yourself.
What you take with you
In the end.
Not more technique, but a clearer understanding of yourself in front of the camera. You leave not with a finished answer, but with a clearer question: What actually happens inside me when I play?
For whom
This phase is for you if:
You sense that training alone isn't taking you further.
You feel controlled rather than present in front of the camera.
You want to understand why you come across differently than you experience yourself.
Not for whom
This phase is not for you if:
You expect fast results.
You just want to collect another technique.
You believe you simply need to “play better”.
Common objections
Clearly answered.
-
That's exactly why this isn't another course on top, but a different starting point.
-
Technique is rarely the start of the problem — so it's not the start of the solution either.
-
Not directly and not immediately. But it changes the foundation everything else is built on.

No. Phase 1 requires no completed training or previous stage or camera experience. What counts is genuine interest in engaging seriously with your own perception — not proof of what you can already do.
-
Both follow the same structure. On site allows more direct camera work in the group; online is just as structured, with adapted exercises.
